Without plug but still “connected” …

The musical current that supported the unplugged or acoustic style divided the fans. Some saw it as a new and original way to play old songs. Others thought it sweetened the music. Don’t worry. This Unplugged is charged with electricity, in both senses of the word, and the title is basically a pun on the band name. WiFi CaBel is made up of Pol Belardi on bass, Federico Casagrande on guitar, Claudio Filippini on piano and keyboards and Paul Wiltgen on drums, all musicians with a personal record production but happy to merge their identities in a choral context.

Unplugged contains ten original compositions organized in an essential way, the authorship of which is to be attributed to all four members of the group. The result of a flawless recording, their sound is sophisticated yet warm and completely devoid of those surface frills that often plague this type of project. It has the immediacy and appearance of an acoustic performance, while contemplating amplifiers and effects that aim to expand and intensify the sound qualities.
