Pitacco’s original repertoire draws inspiration from the work of Bob Brookmeyer, a leading figure in jazz composition of the late 20th century. His influences are reworked into a distinctive style, where form, harmony and improvisation intertwine in a dynamic and contemporary manner.
The ensemble offers a musical experience that draws on the jazz tradition whilst embracing contemporary styles and new forms of expression.
